Get Home Safe is a pamphlet designed for Daniel Brathwell Shirley’s immersive exhibition at the SCAD Museum of Art. The show explored trans identity, fear, and resilience through a maze of digital rooms and an interactive video game where visitors guided a character home safely. Extending the installation into print, the pamphlet features interviews, poetry, and portraiture, using typographic abstraction and ASCII imagery within a scanimation slipcover that animates a walking figure, echoing Shirley’s digital language and emotional depth.
